Silent install (upgrade) not working on Mac?
« on: May 29, 2017, 06:17:09 pm »
Having just upgraded two machines, my fingers are very tired from typing my password once for every single installer and I have RSI from clicking the mouse button.

Will the "silent" option in Arturia Software Centre to quietly install everything using the Installer command line be functioning properly for the next update?

Am I going to get a slew of responses saying "works for me"?

Edit: Still going: 17 installers. 7 clicks and 14 keystrokes for each one, if they were all the same "simple" installers. I think it's more for the different type of installers.

Hi redpola,
In order to have silent install working you must click install on the install button displayed next to VC5 bundle not on each install button displayed  next to the individual soft.
Hope this helps ;)

That's exactly what I did. It did not work. Repeated pressing of that button elicited the same response.

The only way I could install the downloaded updates was by unchecking "silent".
