CV/Gate midi channel
« on: March 15, 2018, 07:51:52 pm »
Would also be nice to be able to set a different CV/Gate midi channel independent of the global midi channel (like beatstep) - so that you could have an external or software sequencer send to the gate and CV outs, and have the USB midi, or DIN midi control a separate piece of hardware or software simultaneously. Like the beatstep. :)

Ideally it shopuld be able to configurable which controls the CV/gate. The user, the sequence or the MIDI in.

The keys seem to always play the CV/gate regardless of the channel sent to MIDI out by the keyboard and the channel received from MIDI in by the CV/gate. This means you can’t use Keystep as a controller keyboard and MIDI/CV at the same time.

Two ways I think this could be resolved are:
1. A switch so that the keys only play the CV when the channels match (key channel is trivial to change shift+key)
2. A local off switch
