So a frequent comment I see on forums like this is that they are not officially read by company representatives, but that they are simply a "community help" forum only.
I also see frequent comments on this forum in the Beatstep Pro and the Microbrute sub forums referring to long overdue promised bug fixes and updates. There are also many great new feature ideas and discussions about allowing access to the firmware code or a user API for modifying options that are not currently accessible in the MCC. These requests appear to have received little if any official response.
So, I recently received an email from Arturia advising they are going to be attending a number of upcoming events to demonstrate their products, and also one would imagine - to
engage with the community... Being in Australia, I won't have the opportunity to attend any of these events, but the internet does provide us with this
community forum... So whether or not this forum is an official communication channel it can still be to our advantage... If Arturia don't read this forum, they may not know of this proposed
campaign to keep asking about updates on the beatstep pro and microbrute firmware bugs! But if they do read the forum they might just take the opportunity to have a good answer to these questions before the events..
So my request is this - if you are able to make it along to any of these events, please don't forget to ask the Arturia representatives
