Okay ... have my little (big) baby since few days now and it's gorgeous
This synth is a keeper.
In my practical work I will use the MatrixBrute as a center-piece of my studio. Therefore I often need to switch midi-channels, how midi is received, how midi-clock is received, need to switch on/off the feature to send the sequencer via midi ... you name it.
BUT I work most of the time off-line - by purpose - only a couple of midi-gear connected to each other, connected by old-school midi cables. Using a computer instead is not an option.
What do you think, if the Matrix would receive a function aka "General Settings" like this:
A dedicated key-combination --> the display shows "Midi" and ...
- Row A: Input Midi Channel: 1 to 16 (one of the buttons is on)
- Row B: Output Midi Channel: 1 to 16 (one of the buttons is on)
- Row C: Midi Clock source: 1= USB, 2=Midi
- Row D: Midi Parameter send: button 1 = off/on
- etc. I think you get the idea
We have 14 global parameters and 16 rows ... wouldn't this be a great improvement?
