Real time recording
« on: September 05, 2016, 08:18:42 am »
Hi,

I've got some issues with real time recording.

I had set a 16 step sequence with step mode, and play a 16 step loop in my DAW. Keystep is in usb slave mode. Set on 1/4 or 1/8 time division.
Press record when the loop is playing and play some notes on the keystep (only 1st time of bar)

Notes are sometimes double, sometimes not on the right step...

I've try different time signatures but it's always the same... can't play basic phrases in real time.

No problems with step recording and arp mode.

It's really annoying, I manage to jam and rec live on my beatstep pro, but not on the keystep.

Thank for your reply and sorry for bad english

Max

I really hoped I could use the keystep for realtime recording and over-recording in a loop, but it seems this will not work :(
I'll keep trying different things

I was having the same issue. Setting time div to 1/16 solved my problem. I can now record what i intended.
