BSP - Sync Issues (Even With Latest Firmware)

Hello Arturia,
I love my Beatstep Pro but it also drives me mad. Why? It doesn't stay in Sync with Ableton 9.6 via USB.
There seems to be some sort of lag as the BSP only very rarely starts on the bar and plays in Sync. Also, when I program a pattern on the BSP and then try and record the midi into Ableton it never records at the start of the bar (almost always two 16th late) meaning that I always need to drag the notes into place. I'm using the latest firmware (1.4.0.20)

can try to adjust the Midi Clock sync in the Preferences and check how tight sync is ?
