"missing MIDI notes" KeyLab88-PLEASE RESPOND
« on: July 18, 2016, 12:27:03 am »
I just recently purchased the KeyLab 88 a month ago. It did not occur to me until the third time playing this keyboard that the low A1 key does not transmit the sound MIDI note. I tried switching the octave button to see if I could hit the A1 pitch where either A2 or A0 would be they as well will not transmit any MIDI message...hence no sound. However, switch the octave button back to 0 and the keys for A2 and A0 both transmit MIDI notes again at their respective octave. It seems that others on this forum have also sought from missing MIDI notes with minimal to no replies. I hope others on here can see that this is a prevalent issue with not a lot of informative responses to the previous threads.

Hi foskco501,

Please make sure that you have latest firmware 1.2.0.6 :

Try also to reset your device to it's factory default. Simply press octave up and down while booting the unit.
.......testing.......
