I've been on the fence with 1.4, but have decided it's the best option available. I had problems with melodic sequences missing first note when switching patterns in 1.3. 1.4 doesn't do that, however it sometimes plays the first note of the old pattern after switching. Still better than missing the note. Had problems with swing being totally broken in 1.4, haven't tested after upgrading again.
I think a firmware reset is important after going to 1.4, remember to backup all song data first...
I hope the first note is from old pattern after switch is due to transferring data from 1.3 after reset + transferring data from 1.3. Will try to redo tracks from scratch in 1.4, and hopefully that fixes the problem.
With wait on pattern change, touching roller after queing pattern change will totally mess up the switch to next pattern, might be fixed by re enterig data in fresh 1.4 song...
