Midi issues with Matrix 12V2
« on: July 27, 2016, 12:46:04 pm »
Hi on the Board,

Addressing Matrix 12 V2 (vs 2.0.2.98) from my guitar-synth (a Roland GR55) over USB everything was smooth (and wonderful) till yesterday, then trouble started in the form of notes choking-off and not sustaining from the synth.

All my other Arturia synths play fine from the same guitar controller so I doubt the problem is there.

Anyone here got any advice? It must be a midi issue of some kind?  :'(

My old Matrix 12 V (from Collection 4) plays fine too, so this is baffling me.

Thankz ahead for any advice.

Sun B

Forgot t mention that this is an issue with polyphony across all patches, a single note plays fine.

The weirdness is that the Matrix plays normally from my keyboard controller, ie I get no polyphony issues or choking-up when I play a chord from the keys.

Okay, I solved this by deleting a Midi Controller Config which was somehow set to 'Keylab 61' for this instrument.

With that setting deleted all is fine.

Sorry t post this before sussing it out myself but it may just be of interest to someone else.
