Spark LE pads double triggering

Anyone else with a SparkLE getting this issue? I think I might have a faulty unit as the pads are double triggering - mostly noticable on pad 1, but is also happening on pad 2 but not as bad as pad 1

I've done a video and I was hitting the pad firmly so it's not a bounce back and as you can see from the light its triggering twice. This does not happen at all if I click the pad in the UI

Any suggestions? Is it possibly a faulty unit?

Hi Adam,
to confirm that it is a hardware issue, could you try to reproduce it without Spark software.
You can use either MIDI Monitor (Mac) or MIDI-OX (Windows)

Yes getting the same issue using MIDI Monitor - this is two physical taps - resulting in doubles of Note On/Offs - looking at the timing you can see there is about 300~400ms between my taps - is happening on Pad 1 + 2.

Any thoughts?

Hi are you using spark /le in an daw or standalone ,if your in a daw make sure you check your midi through  as the notes maybe coming back with a delay check in pref if you have pads to midi on  turn this off and try again

Using it standalone with the SparkLE software - if it was a MIDI loopback problem I think it would happen on all pads but it's very intermittent and only seems to happen on the first two pads.

I've just upgraded the firmware to 1.0.0.3 as suggested in one of your posts to someone else - still happening

I'm having the same issue on a new unit, received today.
