I'm using two drum gates to trigger a Vermona Lancet Kick and to clock a Rhythm Wolf (and probably a 3rd for the PO I got yesterday, tested it with a Volca for sync but would prefer to not have to try and count it in when starting it as the Volca send sync pulses even when it's stopped which means no sync'ed start).
The rest are running midi drums on channel 10 without any hassle. I'm also using the other sequencers to trigger samples on an MV8000 (and it's sequencer to run midi CC sequences, it's got some brilliant features for that purpose).
I've not had any issues with it running midi, though my use of it with the latest firmware hasn't been much.
I'd hazard a guess that any sampler that will trigger from midi notes will work just fine with the BSP, usually a case of the sampler being set to the correct midi channel (or setting the drum sequencer to the same channel as your sequencer)and hitting play.
You can set unique midi notes to all the pads in drum mode so you don't need to muck around with changing your drum/sample map on your other devices. I've had to set the pad I use for my Rhythm Wolf clock to a super high midi note to avoid triggering some odd instrument on my drum machines with every gate-signal sent. Tiny trade-off with running the gates as clocks in that I lose channels on the drum sequencer, but I gain in every other way (I have enough drum machines to cover the loss of a couple of drum pads on the BSP).
Have fun!
