BSP MIDI Controller problems
« on: December 09, 2015, 09:02:05 am »
I need some help here, because nobody else reported this problem and it's so ridiculous it can't be true...???

Situation:
I got 2 synths being sequenced in iPad. I am on sequencer #1 and midi ch. 1. I "learned" some pots CC functions on synth #1.

I start to tweak them and hell breaks loose on both MIDI channels, 1+2  What is going on? It seems that MIDI control in BSP works in OMNI channels?.....This can't be...true?

If I am on midi channel 1, I can't be sending midi CCs to channel 1 + 2 at the same time!!!?

EDIT. I tried to reproduce this and it did not happen again, I had to change MIDI channels manually on BSP to control synths on their respective channels

Have you set your VSTs in your DAW to listen only to one specific channel?

In Cubase, for example, an instrument track starts listen to all MIDI channels first, unless you assign it a specific one to listen to.

Hi Martz, yes I did. Channel 1,2 on Animoog and iSEM...

I tried to reproduce what happened in my 1st post but I couldn't. Few days ago I had few bizarre things happening after iOS update. Complete loss of sound, BSP's sequencer not playing notes etc.

I did some tests and found out that I have to manually change the MIDI channel to control CCs on other channels
