Connection Software for iOS?
« on: May 10, 2014, 07:24:06 pm »
I would love if the Connection Software for the mini and micro was released for iOS! This would mean you could switch your settings even when a laptop/pc isn't present, making it ideal for live situations.

Any chance for this?

I have had alright luck using MIDI Designer for ios and the "camera connection cord" that pretty much lets you plug usb into your iphone. I have a template that I was working on, but its unfinished. I have had trouble with the gate length parameter, changing midi channels and setting up pitch bend range. I'll see if I can figure out a way to share the file here. The app is pretty cool. It seems like you can do everything in the free version, it just has really annoying ads.

Here is a link to download it from google drive. It is a small file. You can install it to MIDI Designer through iTunes. If anyone ends up doing more with it/improving it, please share.

It can all be done via midi, but beware that there are errors in the midi cc range listings in the manuals, they have been documented on the forum. Also note that the settings done via MIDI are temporary, until power down
