USB MIDI and filtering
« on: June 16, 2016, 08:57:49 am »
I was just wondering if I have missed something in the Beatstep configuration or is it just impossible to send NRPN's and Sysex messages from a PC to the Arturia USB midi port?

I want to reconfigure a RK-002 cable, used the sysex messages but they all get filtered out. I tried the NRPN backup method but - they are also gobbled up by the BSP!

Is there a way around this? A different boot mode so you can use the BSP as a full fledged midi interface?

Or set a controller type to sysex instead of just CC/Program Change / ... in midi control center?

All I need is a small sysex message to send a channel independent, the last option would greatly increase the functionality of the BSP as a whole; you could control a lot more devices if you could just send out small Sysex packages.
