Analog Lab modified dedicated MIDI controller
« on: August 16, 2015, 07:12:36 pm »
I recently purchased the Analog Lab Collection series and have an existing compliment of MIDI controller keyboards for my Logic DAW set up. As a newbie to the Analog Lab suite, I liked the visual MIDI controller keyboard GUI at the bottom of the screen and wanted to be able to make logical adjustments to the sound on the fly but because I already have several MIDI controller keyboards I didn't want to add another keyboard just to get the control interface... So I found a Keylab 25 and removed the keyboard with Pitch Blend Wheels. I cut the sides and back to fit and ended up with a dedicated Analog Lab MIDI controller without the excess keys! I have attached a photo of the final modification. The entire mod took about a half hour and I was able to re-use the bottom plates and sides.mjust added some sheet metal screws . If anyone is interested in more details I would be happy to share them...
