specifics on power adapter

I've read the manual and at most it says "use a standard mobile phone adapter"

I know that in the EU they have a standard mobile phone adapter but the rest of the world is quite different and for some demo videos a guy used an iPad adapter which is quit different voltage.

it would be great if you could provide specifics. amps, voltage etc. and whether you need the stronger 12volt adapters to do all the CV tricks.

Specifics please! it's a big world out there, and i'm surprised you can get away with not stating the power needs of the device, seems like an opening to a few house fires.

The power supply specifications are :
-5V (USB standard : see attachment)
-current 500mA

You can find adaptors in shops like on the second attachment.
