DC 12v and – any risks at 1500mA ?

I'm bringing the Minibrute to a place with 12v DC power supply (car battery charged by solar panel)

DC-DC Adapter
where I might use a DC-DC adapter with a regulator set to 12v.
However, it does not have a regulator for the amperage, it says 1500mA on it

Standard AC-DC adapter
(the standard factory AC-DC adapter that comes with the brute gives 1000mA).

Does anyone foresee any risks or problems that might occur?

A higher current (amperage) can never damage the equipment, only excess voltage. The number 1500MA only says that it can deliver up to that amount of current at 12V, if needed. The Microbrute will draw less than 1000mA, so all it means is that you'll have a greater margin for the power supply.
