Error Initializing Core Midi When using Keylab 61
« on: March 10, 2015, 08:06:08 pm »
My Keylab is connected directly into my macbook Pro 2014 USB running Yosemite 10.10.2.  All Arturia software and keylab firmware is up to date.

Very strange ... when I launch Logic 10.1.1, I get a "core midi initialization error" message, and, as one might expect, midi input is disabled.

If I simply quit and restart 10.1, core midi launches fine, and everything is OK.

If I quit and restart again, I get the error message again. Quit and restart again, it's fine. And round and round we go.

I haven't yet had had core midi stop working once it's actually up and running, so it's just a matter of having to launch the program twice -- but it's odd and annoying. Any ideas why?

I unplugged my keylab and never get the error.
