GAH!!!
I've been messin about in Spark for a little over an hour here, and put together a few patterns I like, and chained them into a song. So far so good and fun.
So I try to save my song. My project. However, it does NOT appear to be saving. I only noticed this after I'd made some changes and hit "save" again, instead of "save as" which I'd originally done -- to save this setup as a new song/project.
However, upon hitting "save" it brought up the dialog to "save as" with all the info at the default settings!! WTF. So I looked in my library folder, and sure enuf, I see no sign of my project!! WTF
What am I doing wrong here? Surely Spark is capable of saving a project, including all patterns and song chains, that one has lovingly crafted together.
I will make note that I changed my library directory, because I don't want my C:\ drive getting all stuffed up, plus I have a specific audio projects drive on an external HD that I much prefer to use for such things.
I have looked thru the manual, and can (so far) find nothing in there to help me with this problem.
EDIT: and no, I did not create a "new project" first .. I just loaded up a drum kit and started messin about. .. which by any rational measure should work just fine
EDIT EDIT:
