MIDI CC 102 and 103 — channel bug?
« on: November 16, 2014, 03:46:23 am »
A simple bug that I came across while trying to make a hardware device to modify the brute's internal, CC-accessible parameters:

It appears that the documentation or firmware is incorrect; instead of a MIDI CC value of 1-16 to set to the MIDI channel 1-16, I have to have the device send a value from 0-15.
E.g. sending a MIDI CC #102 value 1 actually sets the MB input channel to 2.

Hmm,

Seems like those are not the only ones that are incorrect.

Gate Length on CC 113 has no effect here.
Note Priority on CC 111 has no effect.
Step Sequence Size on CC 107 only has three choices rather than the preinted four - it only does 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32. 1/4 does not work?

Am I alone or can this be confirmed?

Have updated the Firmware and the others work OK.

UPDATE!!

My bad - the Note priority is working!!

But still the gate length CC's do nothing - do they only affect when using Gate/CV input?
The Sequence Size only seems to offer three variations still no matter what I try? By adjusting the HW knob I can go through all sizes but only three using CC?

I have the same problem! Midi CC 102 (MIDI Receive) doesn't work correct! It only jumps to the next value, then it seems to be an error.

Sending a Midi CC-117 (Arp Hold) value does nothing. Beefinator could you test CC-117, please? Do you have the same problem?
