Hi macmickey,

We are not able to reproduce this bug here. I remember that someone spotted this kind of problem with the Jupiter but we have been trying to reproduce it many times with no luck.
In order to fix a bug we first need to reproduce it.
What is your exact version of :
- PT
- Jupiter
- OS X

What is your sound card ?
Did you try with build in output ?

OK…OSX 10.8.5 / PT 10.3.8 HD + HD3 Hardware…

Problem happen when i insert the Jupi and after a few stop and play it sound mono! I have to remove and reload the VI from the channel and after 2 mins again and again and again…i have to say if can help, with new versions i can just stop bypass and then reactive and it back to sound stereo.

PS i also tried to wrap but same result!

ah forgot…i tried with 2.55 many times and also i guess with latest 2.6 (?!) …i will try with Builtin now!

All tests DONE..

Results:

I reinstall from scratch the Jupi (i delete all from all) 2.6.12 now
In Built-in no problems, also after closing and reopen projects, it sound always stereo.
Problems (of course) under HD Hardware, i need to remove the instance and reopen on each project because when i open a song it sound mono!

So the problem comes from the HD3...
I'm sorry for your bug but i guess this is an AVID bug...
As the HD3 is quite old i guess nothing will be done about that.

Did you tried to contact AVID.
They do have VC4 and they can test that i guess.
