Kraftwerk-Radioactivity Choir sound
« on: December 29, 2014, 10:53:12 pm »
Hi,

Can this sound be recreated with Solina? I bought V Collection 4 and Ï am more than happy, even if I own 3. Fantastic instruments!!!

Happy New Year to all Arturia staff and users :-)

Kindest regards

Theo Niessink's Solina-V pad preset "OMG Choir TN" sounds pretty close to me.

I would start from there and then open up the top of the Solina V to get to the Resonator which is obviously the main tool to get vocal/choir sounds.

There I would tweak "Resonator Cutoff 2" and "Resonator Gain 2" values (under "300 - 1.5kHz") to taste.

For a little more low end turn up the "Resonator Gain 1" a bit.

I am also getting good results changing the Ensemble to stereo mode (as the Kraftwerk choir sound does have a stereo spread to it)
