Analog Lab issues
« on: March 31, 2015, 07:56:11 pm »
hi all,

I bought minilab keyboard and received an Analog Lab software with it. The standalone version is ok however the VST plugin has serious issues (i am using it inside sonar x3)

I have the following issues:

1) when project reopen the AL VST track has the wrong patch / sound or the sound is shifted by ocatve. i need to open VST settings and click on another preset than again on the original in order to return to the original sound. Sometimes i need to do it several times in order for it to work.

2) in one project, every time i push play the AL VST Master Volume is maxed for in all tracks that use it, i have to go to the VST settings and reduce the volume, but if i do stop/play again it will be maxed again. as far as i can tell there are no MIDI CC commands on the tracks to max the volume...

i did reinstall of the AL software and the things improved a bit, but still it is mostly unusable as VST and i cannot trust it....

did someone had such issues and can they be fixed? because i really like the sounds....

Thanks

It seems it is a bug. The same strange behaviour is here in another host Cubase 8 /Win7

hi,

i researched this issue a bit...it seems that this issue happening only when using Prophet 5 synth sounds... right now my solution is to avoid using this synth sounds.

its a shame though that no arturia rep contacted me or replied on this issue. this is my first and last time of using arturia product.

Or, open an instance using the Prophet 5 directly, rather than Analog Lab.
