Mircobrute and Cubase
« on: September 17, 2014, 11:52:53 am »
Hi
I had this working when I first got my Mircobrute but now it just won't work. I want to use Mircobrute as a simple keyboard controller in cubase 7 via USB, it is showing up in the midi channels as Mircobrute and also MIDIIN2 (Mircobrute) MIDIOUT2 (Mircobrute), but selecting these and channel 1 gives me no joy, (I have midi channel 1 selected in the Mircobrute selection software).

Thanks in advance for your help
Frances

Not sure if this was solved, but I had the same issue.

I use Cubase 7 on Win 7. Check to make sure the Microbrute Connection oftware isn't connected to the Microbrute at the same time you are attempting to control Cubase via Midi, Windows does not allow simultaneous MIDI connections of one Midi device to multiple midi software programs. Disconnect the COnnection software, keep the power on the microbrute, shut ubase down and start it up again. ensure the Midi in is either ALl Midi or Microbrute and try again.
