still considering Spark Le for drums but i'm not sure if this can be done already :
assign velocity, shift and repeat parameters to instrument control for step step automation.
read : assign velocity to an encoder, press and hold a step in the step sequencer and change the velocity ( typically for programming ghost notes ) for this step.
