Prophet VS patch compatibility

does the plugin read and write (or send & receive, etc) real Prophet VS patch dumps?

Yes, sort of.
You have to convert/store the patch dumps to .syx file format first.
Then click on the "import" button of Prophet-V toolbar. A local menu appears, pick there either "Pro 5 sysex" or "Pro VS sysex" according to the actual content of the sysex message.

I'm having some difficulty with the import function. I've got a folder of .SYX files (ex. vsAllPhilvs7.syx) but after putting the synth in VS mode and selecting Import / ProVS Sysex, the file names in the folder are all grayed out.

I'm having the same problem    I've searched through the manual and googled plenty, and unless I'm blind, can't really find any documentation on this.  It's cool the ProphetV comes with the first 40 factory sounds, but I have the other 2 banks that came with Rev3.3 and would love to check those out.  I click "Import Pro5 Sysex" and navigate to the folder where the .syx files are, but I can't select them as they are grayed out...

What gives?  Anyone?  Is it only able to load single programs and not banks of sysex?  Any answers would be appreciated...

I really want to EXPORT sysex files to my real Prophet VS , is that possible , if not , see it as a feature request !
