Recording beyond steps 1-16, live on the controller.

On page 29 of the manual it talks about recording a pattern. When i do this on te controller, how do i extend the recording steps so that i can record the steps 17-32, 33-48, and 49-64?

Hold "select" and hit the right arrow key right above the "erase"-button.
To remove steps, hold "select" and hit the left arrow key.
