Laboratory MIDI Setup in Ableton Live HELP needed
« on: June 27, 2012, 08:14:13 pm »
Hey guys!
I just got the Arturia Laboratory 61 keyboard and now wanted to use it as a general midi controller in Ableton Live but I realised it isn't that easy. All the keys and the pitch wheel can be midi mapped in Ableton Live but all the other elements (buttons, drum pads, controls and faders) don't appear to be. It would be really great if someone could tell me what settings I will have to change to get it working...

Sorry for the basic question but I would very appreciate somebody going through this problem with me as this really drives me crazy! :-[

Some problems solved already! :)
Remaining problems:
-the encoders in the "control" section only control a very small area (not the whole 100% of a fader but only let's say 2%) when midi-mapped in Ableton.
-faders only work upside down...

Hi,

You should find all the answers to your questions here on the boards or in the FAQs, if you search for them. So just go check out the Solutions! first.

PS: MCC Update is not required if you already have Laboratory 1.5.1 installed!
