Controller selector
« on: July 16, 2015, 11:23:07 pm »
Is there a way to get mini V to load as plug-in with "empty" controller selected instead of "Analog experience" that for some reason by default has the modwheel on my controller to control the dry/wet delay knob.

It's annoying to have to set controller selection everytime one load a new MiniV plug-in.

BTW. Does this work correct as it is, or is it a potential bug?

If you create a new plug in map, duplicate Analog experience and disable the midi control that's not you don't need, save it as something and it should open up as default every time without the control that annoys you

What's your controller? Not all controller map the generic controls as you'd expect.

Thanks, Stuart

Thanks that did it. I just renamed the original "Analog Experience" xml to keep it, and then  saved a new config named "Analog Experience".
Off coarse.
Could be harder. But also simpler if just the setting one selected in the selector was remembered and recalled.

I think it's odd i had to re-configure, as the modwheel has the same CC. It's standard 1.

But now it works.

Thanks again.

Should be able to duplicate and save, or create a new one and save, no real need to rename XML file, Analog experience isn't a default patch.  I have a few controllers which I have made several maps for, off the top of my head, the mod wheel is the same on all of them.

Anyway, good you solved it

Thanks, Stuart

Yes it's possible to save more maps. But when i load a VST, then Mini V by default open the VST opening the map named Analog Experience" "no matter what i did/ do. That was/ is the problem.

It should in my opinion remember the last selected controller setting, or open the setting set last in stand alone by default when loading. But it does'nt. I still wonder if it's a bug it does'nt

Thanks Stuart.
The annoying issue has wanished using a workaround like this.

I thought it did, perhaps the plug in remembers that last active map set in standalone mode?

Thanks Stuart.

No it does'nt. I have tried that before posting.  There is in my opinon a bug here.

Don't know if the settings if remembered on all the other synths. Maybe i will test.
But i don't have the issue with the "Analog Experience" settings on the other synths as i have with Mini V. So i'm quite sure there is a bug in Mini V's Analog Experience XML or in this function. I hav'nt been going thru the xml file, so don't no what. The fact is, that the Modwheel in Mini V's Analog Experience xml file is working on the delay FX dry/ wet control.

In the other synth's the Analog Experience xml's works correct. So in my opinion the Mini V has a fault/ bug here somewhere.

Cheers

Maybe the MAC version don't have the issue. I use Windows. I can see you use MAC.
