SEM with Presonus Studio One DAW Version 2.0.5 [Solved]
« on: May 20, 2012, 08:22:46 pm »
Hello:

Several months back I was able to run a demo version of Arturia's Oberheim SEM VST with Studio One DAW version 2.0.5. Since then I have purchased and installed it. S1 will scan the dll in both 32 and 64 bit versions. But the plugin does not appear in my instruments list in either version. I have tried resetting the DAW's "black list" and reinstalling both programs. The Oberheim will work in standalone mode however. Also my other Arturia plugins (Mg Modular, Analog Player) still work within S1.

I tried deleting the "Oberheim SEM V_Last.statec" files as per the knowledgebase article but no success. I opened a ticket with Arturia tech support also (a week back) but I haven't heard anything.

I appreciated any suggestions.

Thanks.

Chris

Hi Kevin:

Ticket number is 108028. Also, to correct my post: when I tried the demo, the version of S1 was 2.0.1 or 2.0.2. Also, I don't think version 1.1 of SEM was out.

Thanks for your help.

Chris

Hello:

Kevin was able to help find a solution. Instead of installing both VST 2.4 and VST 3 versions of the problem, I installed the VST 2 version only and it worked.

Thanks.

Chris
