CPU always at 100%
« on: November 25, 2011, 03:55:50 pm »
Bought Analog Factory 2.0 some time back, love it when it works.
Most of the time CPU utilization is so high it won't.
(Dell, WinXP, 2GHz Celeron, 1.25GB RAM and yes, I've turned off ALL the background processes I can, this is practically just WinXP and Analog Factory).

Anyone have any further tips on how to get it to run better?
Does anyone think upgrading from 2.0 to the latest 2.5.1 will help, or hurt?

Thanks for any replies!

Mike

This is not what you want to hear but - Buy a new computer. That computer isn't made for recording purposes, the processor, the ram, nothing about it going to get it done if you want to get serious about what your doing.
