Automation problem from beta still there in final :(

Hi,
I am using the AU plugin with Logic Express 9. I have 2 tracks in Logic both with Mg Modular in them. In Track 1 I record cutoff frequency automation. Unfortunately when playing back, the automation plays back on both track 1 and track 2.

What is causing this and is there a workaround???

PS - I posted this as a bug early on in the beta - guess it didn't get fixed or reproduced?

This may just be a change with 2.6 - In the general users post, I was given the advice to set each track explicitly to a Midi Channel and this seems to prevent the recorded knobs from going to each track.
