Hi,
i'm just about to buy Spark, but Spark's software demo is crackling a lot in Cubase 6 64 bit, so is Spark VST fully compatible with windows and Cubase 64bit ??

Ok, just listen to a simple Kick Drum sound. It's the same with any sound i've tried.
What's happening??? Any idea?
Crackling

No clipping at any stage.......

Hi ouidier,
What driver are you using (DirectSound, ASIO, WASAPI)?
Do you have the same issue with the standalone version?

Hi Kevin,
I haven't installed standalone version, but i don't plan to use it.
As driver i'm using the Asio Aurora's one provided with my Lynx Studio Aurora 16 converter (64 bit).
I've tried to reinstall twice and no change, still have a clipping-like distortion.

Can you give me the samplerate and buffer size you are using?
I will make some tests.

samplerate. 44.1 Khz
Buffers:
_stream audio 20 ms
_Asio 40 ms
_WDM 40 ms

Hi,

same here too. Cubase 6.02 XP 32 bit newest RME driver 3 GB Ram Quadcore 2,8 GHZ extrem Asio load, no matter which Buffersize is used. 512 or 2048. There must be something wrong. Sound is amazing but not usabel in a host. Sample rate is 44,1
