Hi,
can you describe more in detail what happens when the unit crashes?
 - can you still navigate in the pages and menus?
 - can you load some presets?
 - do you have sound when playing on your keyboard?

Also, it would be useful to know what is connected to your Origin:
 - is something connected to the USB? Is there some sequencer running on the PC?
 - what is connected to the MIDI IN? And to the MIDI Out?
 - are audio inputs connected?

This information would help us to find and solve the problem.
Thank you...

Please give us as much detail as possible:
- can you load or reload a preset, or do you need to reboot the machine?
- MIDI and or USB connections to Origin?
- what kind of MIDI (only notes, a few CC, MIDI clock...)?
- what preset?
- did you play lo, middle, hi notes?
- were you loading a new preset when this happened?
- if you were editing the preset:?
  • were you adding/removing connections?
  • what parameter did you change and what value were you attempting to set?

We are currently working on the generation of a log file that will contain all these informations (and more). It is not yet reliable so there's more to do and in the mean time you are the only source of information that can help us to fix these bugs.

- can you load or reload a preset, or do you need to reboot the machine? No, I need to reboot.
- MIDI and or USB connections to Origin? Yes, and it seems to happen when Ableton Live is running and sending midi data to Origin. When Live is not running, the freeze-ups don't occur.
- what kind of MIDI (only notes, a few CC, MIDI clock...)? None.
- what preset? All
- did you play lo, middle, hi notes? Yes, but no sound was produced.
- were you loading a new preset when this happened? No, already loaded.
- if you were editing the preset:? No.

Thank you for these informations. Have you an idea of what Ableton Live is sending to Origin when this happens?

Thx

Ableton Live was simply sending Midi sync and note trigger data.
