Soft Synth engine
« on: October 10, 2010, 01:24:37 pm »
Hi All,

I love Arturia's soft synths, and have bought several of them. But one thing I noticed and others have commented on, is that they basically use the same sound engine for all their synths, in other words, the front end is different but the basic TAE sound engine is the same for all their synths.

I have to say that I can get the same sounds from a mini Mg or their CS-80 or Arp by tweeking the settings. So you're really not getting the unique sound from each original synthesizer.  Does anyone have any opinion on this subject?

Many thanks

Tim
