MMV Soft Clipping Function
« on: May 25, 2004, 09:20:21 am »
Hi there,
I designed a nice memorybrass sound by heavily modifying a sound of Celmar Engel. The problem is that when I play it with a high velocity key stroke, this filter current limiting function creates an unpleasant saturation sound. How can I disable this function? If it is unavoidable, what should I do to lessen its effect on the sound? Any help would be appreciated...

Ok, let me give you the answer. Simply, set the oscillator volume knobs to lower values for not to drive the filter to saturation and lower the velocity setting on your MIDI keyboard.
