synchronisation, two modes ?
« on: June 13, 2003, 03:24:45 pm »
Hi there,
I have found out something cool in MMV.
It seems there are two modes for synchronisation between oscillators.

When you set the switch up, it doesn't disable synchronisation, it changes the mode. If you set the synchronisation source a few octaves upper, then you hear the pitch of the synchronised oscillator, but this pitch seems to be altered.

In the exemple above, I experiment this for basses, try it, you will be surprised:

Hi,

Yes you're right, there are 2 synchro modes on the oscillators (like on the original Mg 921b modular module):
In hight position of the switch, you have the soft synchro                and in the low position, the hard synchro (as much as known as the other, it's present on most analog synthesizers).
