Can the dongle...
« on: August 23, 2009, 02:04:23 am »
...be used in a powered usb hub?  It doesn't work with my unpowered one so it's currently taking up a native port in my Mac Pro.  Anyone using it with an externally powered hub?

I am using mine on an unpowered USB hub quite often on a MacBook Pro. There is also a mouse and an external mac keyboard attached to it. So maybe you should just try another hub? And yes, powered ones should work too.   ;)

My experience is that you should bypass the hub while setting the software up initially, but after that it will live happily in a hub & be detected.

You're right!  It DOES work in that usb-hub now!  Cool, thanks!  8)
