Jupiter 8 issue!!!!
« on: May 31, 2008, 01:31:25 am »
Trying to install Jupiter 8 on my Intel Mac and its saying that my OS is too old and that Panther is required... I have Leopard on here.  The audio units screen hangs when I try to open Logic and it wont authorize.  I tried with the iLok syncrosoft key in and out.... no dice.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

That sounds strange  ??? Did you download the latest Jupiter?

Is it an iMac or what is the hardware?

OS X keeps the installer in cache, to prevent user from installing previous versions, but this can cause this kind of error. Happily, it's easily workaround:

Try deleting this file:
Code: [Select]
/Library/Receipts/Jupiter-8V.pkg
Then reinstall from the online update:

Last, don't forget to keep your LCC up to date:
==> http://syncrosoft.com/Support-78-11.html
