I have a new Mac Pro with Mac OS X Version 10.5.6 and Mg mod V will not instal

I have a new Mac Pro with Mac OS X Version 10.5.6 and Mg mod V will not install.

I put the CD in. Then clicked on it and saw "Mg Modular V 2 Setup Mac". I clicked on that and a strange dos like window opened up called Terminal 80x24 and the following show up:

But the program did not install??? What should I do next?

I bought this new from a music store and it is clearly new out of the box. It says it is Version 2

Rather use the update available online; make sure to put the CD in your drive *only* when prompted, if not OS X will use the CD installer instead of the downloaded one.
