yeah all u have to do is check your user manual for your midi enabled keyboard that you are using. For me my setup is a yamaha PSR and there is a midi on/off switch. MIDI in and out are fed through my external sound card to the Yamaha. After you connect, you need to assign the midi device in the miniMg program. Hope this helps
