Automation does not work under Logic Pro 8

Just installed the new Logic 8 on my Mac (G5 PPC Dual 2,3 GHz /OSx 10.4.10) . I can not automate any Arturia apps paramters unless I draw the automation myself. Write/touch/latch works with all my other applications. Any help is much appreciated.
