You can use any MIDI keyboard to control the MMV.
If you've got a soundcard with a MIDI connector, simply plug in a MIDI keyboard. If your soundcard doesn't have a MIDI connector then it's probably not high-end enough for you to get the full value from the software.
Regarding controllers, you can allocate the MMV knobs and switches to a MIDI controller. I use a Korg Legacy MS20, simply because I have one anyway - it isn't the best option - so although I do use a controller I'm not the best person to advise. I remember one or two people saying the have Behringer controllers with a lot of knobs at a low price, though, so that may be a good place to start looking. Your dealer should be able to advise. The manual tells you how to allocate knobs in the MMV to your controller, and it's very easy to do. You can customise by putting the parameters you want to control wherever is most convenient for you, which is a trick you couldn't do with the original Mg.
Regarding the manual, you should get one with the program. Assuming you have a legal copy of the software, contact Vincent T on this site and tell him the problem, and give him your license number, and I'd expect he can sort this out for you. (If you haven't got a legal copy, then no-one is likely to want to help you.
