key click based on playing higher notes before lower notes.
« on: August 01, 2007, 01:28:49 pm »
I'm hearing a distinct tiny click when I play any note that is lower than the preceeding note, but only immediately after having played notes that were higher e.g. if I play a g5, and then a g3, I can hear a bright click. If i play a g2, then a g3, no click. The very next g3 will sound normal. It only happens when I the first of any notes that are lower than the preceeding note...as if the keyboard scaling is very quickly changing the brightness back to that note. It seems directly proportional with the distance from the higher note i.e. if I play g7 then g2, the click is very distinct, but playing g3 then g2, not so distinct.

is this normal?
