Arp as effects unit

Hi,
Can somebody shed some light on how to get the most out of using the Arp as an effects unit? I have used it on some beats, just adding the reverb and delays, but is there a more intense way you can alter audio tracks with it?
Steph.

Basic patch for processing with filtered sounds:
1. Your source sound to the 2600 Audio input
2. Audio output, from the pre-amp to the audio input of the filter (one patch cord).
3. (pre-amp pre-patched to EF) Envelope follower output to a control input of filter(one patch cord). Filter audio out (pre patched) to VCA audio input. Use the envelope follower to also crontrol input of VCA (one patch cord), or go direct from the filter out to a audio input of the mixer (1 patchcord).
Hope this gets you started. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for you help. This is one great synth, and most probably needs a good six months of learning its ins and outs to feel like you're using it to its full potential. Wish we had more of a user community here in oz.

Basic Ring Modulator processing patch.
1. Outside world audio into the pre-Amp. 2. Audio out of the pre-Amp. to one side of the ring modulator. 3. Oscillator to other input of the ring Modulator. 4. Ring Modulator output to audio input of the mixer, VCA or filter. 5. You could also use the Envelope follower (pre-amp. pre-patched to the input) output to control VCA, filter or mixer.
