MMV 2 as an effect?

One more question: how can I use the MMV as an effect? When I load up the fx version in Cubase SX 3, I get no sound at all.

In fact the EFX version of our synths has no difference from the Intrument. You must use it exactly like you use the instrument, so you must trigger the envelopes of the MMV, and use the external input in place of the oscillators.
Plug the external input in your filters, modulators, etc, and at the end trigger the envelopes via midi.
You also need to instanciante a midi track and assign it to the MMV EFX to do so.

I'm still struggling with this I'm afraid  :cry:

In Cubase I select MMV as an Insert effect for the audio track that I want to use.  

I open the 'Factory>EFX>External_In' patch.  

I then assign MMV to a midi track and pencil in note on/note off information in an attempt to trigger MMV but nothing seems to happen.  I've tried adjusting various parameters on the synth but without success.

Could somebody who is using MMV in Cubase in this way please tell me where I'm going wrong.  Thanks  :wink:

I too am struggling with this.  I am using the Mg Moduar in both Pro Tools and Digital Performer and trying to figure how it can be used as an effect on various audio file tracks. I cannot figure out how to route an audio signal from an audio track into the Mg.
