Polyphony - Attacks are strange??

I hope this isn't a "feature" of the original Prophet...
No matter how high I set the polyphony on the Prophet V, I can't consistently get slow attacks, like on string patches. If I play fast at all, I start getting short attacks.
Anyone else notice this?

Maybe it is, and could be related to the method of assigning the voices...

Arturia's support solved this for me. I didn't know there was a choice of polyphony modes... "Circular" mode was the answer. Thanks Arturia!
