Problems with USB connectivity

Hi,

After un-installing and reinstalling Analog Lab a number of times, I have realised that, if the USB cable for my MiniLab is not pressed all the way in to the unit, the lights work as though they should (ie the pads and buttons light up the way they should). However, the computer does not recognise the device. However, if I plug it the whole way into the unit, the pad and octave buttons flash uncontrollably and the device does not sync with the computer or other programs.

Is this just a driver problem?

Sounds like a defective USB cable/connector or port. You should exchange the cable or check it on another PC.

What OS are you running?

Im running win 8 x 64 and when I plug in the minilab ( using the cable that came with it or others ) the buttons just flash red non stop and it just connects / disconnects over and over again.

WORST PRODUCT EVER!

Best part about the minilab is that I CAN RETURN IT!

I just got back from guitar center returned the minilab for an Axiom AIR Mini 32 works as soon as I plug it in , no headaches what so ever.

My suggestion to everyone here would be to AVOID ARTURIA at ALL COSTS , their products are HORRIBLE so is their support. STAY AWAY from ARTURIA.

haha what a joke that is.

the mini lab wont even work on win 8 x64 I would think that the best products would work on any operating system - the Axiom AIR Mini 32 was plug and play with no problems even installed the drivers for me. Arturia did not , they dont even have WORKING win8x64 drivers , hardly the best.

It works absolutely fine here. And i don't need drivers, because the MiniLab itself need no drivers to install. Maybe you have misunderstood something?
