SparklE installation on Windows 8 help!

Hey guys, I am having the worst time trying to install the SparklE program onto my Samsung 8 laptop which runs on Windows 8. I noticed the manual only mentions windows 7 and xp. I tried contacting nova music on ebay and they recommended I should download the latest drivers for it to work. What should I do? Thanks!

I'm running sparkle 1.7.1 on Windows 8.1 with no problem.
What's the problem ?

i installed on win8.1 with no problems. CD into the computer and start installation. latest driver was not necessary.

I inserted the disc on an lG dvd reader and it kept makimg noises and wouldn't read the disc, maybe tI should try and buy a disc reader specific to my samsung laptop. When you guys inserted the disc dod the prompts automatically come up?

in my case it seems that the cd was broken. the installation was successfull, but i had a lot of bugs. for example couldn't open the library. but the disc itself was running smooth (i think it just didn't install the part with the library or something?)

nevertheless, i downloaded the install.exe from arturia-homepage, de-installed spark and installed it again with the exe i downloaded (V1.7.1) since that i have no problems and everything works fine.
