Hi Guys,

noob question: When I try to route my 16 spark outputs to ableton live 9, I find it odd that there is only the possibility to route one drum to the master in spark and the other 15 outputs to "Out 2-16".

So, when I try to get the dry signal from all my 16 drums, there is always one drum, that has to go via the master and gets all the processed signals from the returns, for instance. So there might be some extra reverb from the snare.

Is there a way to get the dry signal from all 16 drums inside of spark to albeton live?

Or am I missing something here?  ???

Cheers.  :)

Basically, don't put FX on your master channel.

Also, consider that some of the instruments can be run to the same output. For instance, open and closed hat can go to the same output, or even all the toms. I often use two kicks, and run those to the same output. That would free up your Master Out.
Still, if you're using individual outs, there's really no reason to be putting effects on the Master Out. That assumes the intent is to do such processing outside of Spark. ;)

Great, Guys!

Thx for the reply. That will help me streamline the whole thing.  :)
